1:1 SUPPORT
The 1:1 work that I offer includes supporting survivors or their loved ones - through educational consultations or writing coaching focused on their manuscripts. What I do best is create opportunities for survivors to access their core learning from the quagmire of coercive control. When this is allowed to speak, powerful writing follows. Writers come to know themselves better and can navigate decisions about publication without the haze of power-over bullshit.

An immersive, private writing sanctuary in Vermont
(in the private rustic cabin)
(right over there)
(in gerette’s back yard)

Write, sleep, and live in your own private space - with support nearby.
A writer’s dream come true.

Is it time to break through the shame that has kept you quiet?
Prioritize your inner muse and dedicate precious time - anywhere from two days to two weeks - to focus on Writing. Learning. Putting pieces together.

Reckon with those questions that keep bubbling up.
There are LOTS of reasons people visit - and live in - Vermont. Its physical beauty and kindness offer sanctuary. So does the humble cabin in my backyard. You decide how much or how little interaction you want.
Testimonial for Writing Retreat:

"Bringing together two long-running separate threads—therapy and writing—into one conversation was transformative. To be able to use creative writing as a modality in an in-person therapeutic session was deeply meaningful and facilitated transformative integration. The trifecta of time with Gerette, time alone, and the presence of nature was a powerful combination.
I loved sitting by the stream. I loved the presence of the trees and the hillside and the flowers and the bees and this sense of continual change around me."
